Dental clinic analytics and reporting software

Reports that are already written when the month closes, because every one of them is built from the treatment, the invoice and the doctor that produced it. Financial, clinical, marketing and staff performance in the same place, per branch.

Financial reporting that reconciles

Income, collection, discounts, tax and outstanding balances, each traceable to the invoice and the operation behind it. No report is assembled by hand, so no two reports disagree.

  • Income statement and collection rate by period
  • Revenue by doctor, by procedure and by branch
  • Discounts and taxes, so margin erosion is visible
  • Patient credit balances and ageing receivables
  • Insurance performance: approval rate and settlement time
Financial analytics in Dentolize on desktop: total invoiced, paid and outstanding shown as a single reconciled figure

Clinical and operational reporting

What was actually done, by whom, and how much of it was completed. Operations by procedure and by doctor sit beside cancellations and no-shows, which is where most lost capacity is.

  • Operations by procedure and by doctor
  • Completed treatment still awaiting payment
  • Cancellations and no-shows, per patient and per doctor
  • Chair utilisation per room and per session
  • Inventory consumption by procedure

Patients, marketing and growth

Where patients come from, which ones come back, and which ones have not been seen in a year. The source travels from the first enquiry to the invoice, so channel reporting is about revenue rather than clicks.

  • New patients by source, doctor and branch
  • Patients with no payment in twelve months
  • Referral performance per referring patient
  • Geographic distribution of patients and revenue
  • Forecasting and budgeting against what actually landed

Who reads the reports

Reporting fails in clinics when it produces a number nobody can act on, or one they do not trust.

Owners

Revenue, margin, collection and utilisation per branch, compared side by side.

Practice managers

Where the day is leaking: no-shows, unbilled treatment, stalled claims.

Accountants

Reports that reconcile to the ledger because they are built from the same records.

Exports and spreadsheets versus reporting

Most clinics can produce a number. Far fewer can produce the same number twice.

Doing it by hand

  • Reports assembled by hand each month
  • Figures that disagree between sources
  • Marketing measured in enquiries
  • Branches compared manually
  • Forecasts based on feel

With Dentolize

  • Reports written continuously from live records
  • One record behind every figure
  • Marketing measured in booked revenue
  • Branches compared in one dashboard
  • Forecasts compared against what actually landed

Questions

Analytics — frequently asked

What reports does Dentolize include?

Financial reports including income, collection rate, discounts, tax and receivables; clinical reports on operations by procedure and doctor; patient reports on sources, retention and outstanding balances; staff performance; inventory consumption; and forecasting against actuals.

Can I compare branches?

Yes. Every report filters by branch, and owners can put branches side by side while a branch manager sees only their own.

Can reports be exported?

Yes, to CSV and Excel, and they can be printed. Filters and date ranges apply before exporting so you send the slice you meant to.

Do the reports reconcile with the accounts?

They are built from the same invoices, payments and expenses the finance module uses, so there is one set of records rather than a reporting copy that drifts.

How current are the numbers?

Live. A procedure completed this morning is in the report this morning, which is what makes the dashboard usable during the day rather than only at month-end.
